Build a Pinhole Projector

Don't have eclipse glasses? No worries! You can create a pinhole projector using common household items. It operates similarly to a colander or pinhole camera, but instead of multiple small holes, it employs just one. This simple device allows you to observe the eclipse indirectly, projecting an image onto a surface for safe viewing.
Use Household Items for Eclipse Projection
DIY eclipse viewing with items you already have.
Grab a cereal box, aluminum foil, and a pushpin, and you're all set! Simply poke a small hole in the aluminum foil and attach it to the cereal box. The hole will act as the pinhole, casting an inverted image of the eclipse onto the inside of the box. Cover the opposite end of the box with white paper to create a clear projection surface. By moving the box and adjusting the distance, you can fine-tune the image quality.
